In short
- We host, maintain, and optimize your website for one monthly fee. There's nothing to sign, and you can cancel any time.
- Your plan's one-time setup fee and first month are due when your plan starts. Commit to 12 months and we waive the setup fee; leave before then and we ask for it back.
- SEO plans include unlimited edits. On the Foundation plan, changes are billed hourly in 15-minute increments.
- We work hard to improve your visibility, but nobody can guarantee a specific ranking, citation, or amount of traffic.
- You own your content. When you leave, we hand over your site's code and content. It's yours to keep.

Who these terms are for
These terms are an agreement between you and FizzPop Media LLC, a Michigan limited liability company doing business as SEOpologist ("SEOpologist", "we", "us"), with an office at 860 Hampshire Rd, Suite C, Westlake Village, CA 91361, USA. They apply to anyone who uses this website and to every client who subscribes to our services. By using the site or starting a subscription, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or our services.
What we do
SEOpologist provides search engine optimization together with the website it runs on. Because SEO is only as good as the foundation it's built on, we only provide SEO services for websites we host. Depending on your plan, your subscription includes:
- Foundation plan ($99/mo): your website, either a new design or your existing design rebuilt on our stack, hosted on our enterprise infrastructure with SEO basics such as page titles, meta descriptions, schema, and a sitemap. Edits and changes are not included and are billed as described below.
- SEO plans ($498, $998, or from $1,798 a month): everything in the Foundation, plus keyword and competitor research, ongoing page-by-page optimization, AI SEO, unlimited edits, blog publishing of up to four posts a month, and monthly reporting.
- Add-ons: Local SEO ($349 per location, a month) and SEO Content Creation ($249 per post, a month), available on any plan and billed monthly alongside it.
SEO plans are sized by the number of pages in your site. Adding pages or sections beyond what your plan covers may mean moving to a larger plan. We'll always tell you before that happens, and you decide.
Getting started and paying
After an intro call, you choose a plan and your subscription begins. The one-time setup fee for your plan ($498 for the Foundation; $998, $1,998, or $3,998 for SEO plans) and your first month are due when your plan starts. You are then billed monthly, in advance, on the same day each month. Add-ons are billed monthly in the same way and have no setup fee.
If you commit to 12 months at signup, we waive the setup fee. There is nothing to sign. If you cancel within those 12 months, we ask you to pay the setup fee that was waived, and that is the only consequence. You are still billed monthly, can cancel at any time, and take your code and content with you.
If a payment fails or is late, we'll let you know and give you a reasonable chance to sort it out. If it stays unpaid after notice, we may pause work and suspend hosting until the balance is settled. We'll never take your site down without warning you first.
Prices may change over time. If we change the price of your plan or add-ons, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice before the new price takes effect.
Edits and changes
On SEO plans, edits to your site are unlimited. Send requests by email or through the tools we provide, and we'll handle them within 2 business days. Larger projects, such as entirely new sections or functionality, may take longer, and we'll agree on timing with you first.
On the Foundation plan, we still handle every change for you, but the time is billed hourly in 15-minute increments at our current rate. We'll confirm the estimated time before starting anything larger than a quick fix.
Moving your existing site
If you have an existing website, we'll rebuild it on our stack, either keeping your current design or creating a new one. We take care to preserve your search visibility during the move, including mapping existing URLs and setting up redirects. Because search engines control their own results, we can't promise that rankings won't fluctuate while they process the change.
Search results and AI visibility
Search engines, AI assistants, and AI agents are operated by third parties who change how they work without notice. We use our experience and current best practices to improve your visibility, but we don't control their results. We don't guarantee any particular ranking, AI citation, amount of traffic, or business result, and changes made by those third parties are outside our control.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time through our contact form, by phone, or by replying to any email from us. Your subscription, including any add-ons, ends at the close of the current billing period, and you won't be charged again. We don't offer refunds for partial months.
When you cancel, we hand over your website's code and content so you can host it wherever you like. Hosting and SEO services on our stack end with your subscription, so you'll need to arrange your own hosting from that point.
We may also end the agreement if you break these terms, if your account stays unpaid after notice, or if we stop offering the service. We'll give you reasonable notice and hand over your code and content in the same way.
Your content and responsibilities
You're responsible for the information and materials you give us, such as copy, photos, your logo, and details about your business. By giving us content, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it, and that it's accurate and legal. You also agree to:
- Respond to our requests for information, feedback, and approvals in a reasonable time so your work can move forward.
- Give us the access we need, such as to your domain, Google Business Profile, or analytics accounts, for the services you've chosen.
- Review content we write for you before it's published, and let us know if anything about your business is inaccurate.
- Keep your own copies of anything important you send us.
Acceptable use
You may not use our website or a site we host for anything illegal, deceptive, or harmful. That includes distributing malware, sending spam, infringing someone else's rights, publishing defamatory or hateful material, or trying to interfere with our systems or other people's. We also won't use manipulative tactics that violate search engine guidelines, such as buying links or publishing fake reviews, even if asked. If we believe a site breaks these rules, we may take it offline while we work it out with you.
Who owns what
Your content is yours. Anything you supply stays your property, and content we write for you as part of your plan or the SEO Content Creation add-on belongs to you once it's paid for. You give us permission to use your content only to build, host, maintain, and optimize your site.
Your site code becomes yours on handover. While you're subscribed, we keep the site in our systems so we can host and optimize it. When the subscription ends, we hand over the code and content, and ownership of that code passes to you.
Our tools stay ours. The internal tools, templates, build systems, research methods, and know-how we use are SEOpologist's property and aren't part of the handover. The handover gives you a complete, working website, not our internal toolkit.
Portfolio use. We may reference completed work in our marketing. If you'd rather we didn't, just tell us and we'll leave yours out.
Uptime and things we can't control
We build on a reliable stack and work hard to keep your site online, but no one can promise a service will never go down. We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Outages caused by our hosting providers, internet infrastructure, or events outside our reasonable control aren't our responsibility, though we'll do what we can to get you back up quickly.
Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, SEOpologist is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost data, or lost business, arising from our services or this website. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
Apart from what is written in these terms, our services are provided "as is."
Using this website
The content on seopologist.com, including text, design, and images, belongs to SEOpologist or its licensors. You may browse the site and share links to it, but please don't copy or reuse our content without permission. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information collected through the site.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that we can't resolve by talking it through will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Michigan, and you agree to that jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page and, for changes that affect current clients, email you before they take effect. Continuing to use the site or your subscription after a change means you accept the updated terms.
