Pricing & Plans

How much does SEOpologist cost?

SEO plans are $498, $998, or from $1,798 a month, depending only on the size of your site. That one price covers your website, enterprise hosting, ongoing SEO and AI SEO, unlimited edits, and reporting. If you just need hosting with SEO basics, the Foundation plan is $99 a month. Every plan has a one-time setup fee that we waive with a 12-month commitment.

Why does every plan include my website?

Because SEO is only as good as the foundation it's built on. When we host and maintain your site, we can guarantee the speed, structure, and technical fundamentals that rankings depend on, and every optimization we make ships right away. We don't offer SEO on sites we don't host.

Can I keep my current website design?

Yes. Many of our clients like their design and just want it faster and better optimized. We'll preserve the look you know and rebuild it on our stack. Prefer something new? We'll design a custom site instead. Either option is included.

What's the difference between the Foundation and an SEO plan?

The Foundation ($99/mo) is your site hosted on our stack with SEO basics built in: page titles, meta descriptions, schema, a sitemap, and a 95+ PageSpeed score. Changes are billed hourly in 15-minute increments. SEO plans add keyword and competitor research, page-by-page optimization every month, AI SEO, unlimited edits, blog publishing, and monthly reporting.

How do I know if I'm Small, Medium, or Large?

Count your pages. Small covers up to 15 pages, Medium up to 30 pages, and Large 31+ pages. Everything else is identical across plans. Not sure? Tell us about your business and we'll recommend one.

Am I locked into a contract?

No. There's nothing to sign, and plans are month to month. If you commit to 12 months, we waive the setup fee; the only thing we ask if you leave before then is the fee we waived. Your code and content are always yours to keep.

What does the setup fee cover?

The setup fee covers building your site on our stack, whether that's a new design or your current one rebuilt, plus the initial SEO setup. It's $498 for the Foundation and $998, $1,998, or $3,998 for the SEO plans. Commit to 12 months and it's waived entirely.

Can I add Local SEO or content creation?

Yes, on any plan, including the Foundation. Local SEO is $349 per location, a month, and SEO Content Creation is $249 per post, a month. Neither has a setup fee.

Can I change plans later?

Anytime. Move from the Foundation to an SEO plan when you're ready, or move up a size as your site grows. Your site, hosting, and history stay exactly where they are.

Getting Started

How long does it take to get started?

We research your site and market and reach out within one business day of hearing from you. Most sites launch within 30 days of kickoff, and ongoing SEO starts the month you launch.

What do I need to provide?

Very little to start: your current website if you have one, what you want to be found for, and where your customers are. If we're building something new, we'll ask for your logo, photos, and any copy you want to keep. We handle everything else.

Will I lose my rankings when you move my site?

Not if it's done right, and that's our job. We map every existing URL, set up redirects, carry over titles and metadata, and monitor the move closely. Most sites see rankings hold steady and then improve as the new foundation takes effect.

What's in the monthly report?

Rankings, traffic, AI citations and visibility, site speed, and a plain-English summary of what we changed that month and what we're working on next.

How does it work on the Foundation plan?

The same way through launch: research, build, and migration. After that, we keep your site hosted, fast, and secure with SEO basics in place. Changes are billed hourly in 15-minute increments, and you can move up to an SEO plan whenever you're ready.

SEO & AI Search

How long does SEO take to work?

Technical fixes and on-page changes can move rankings within weeks, especially for less competitive terms. Competitive keywords usually take three to six months of steady work. Your monthly report shows progress the whole way.

Why do you only do SEO on sites you host?

Because SEO is only as good as the foundation it's built on. If we don't control the site, we can't guarantee the speed, structure, and technical fundamentals that rankings depend on. You can keep your current design; we rebuild it on our stack.

What's the difference between SEO basics and an SEO plan?

Every site we host gets the basics: titles, meta descriptions, schema, a sitemap, and a fast foundation. SEO plans add keyword and competitor research, page-by-page optimization every month, AI SEO, content publishing, and reporting.

Is AI SEO different from regular SEO?

It builds on the same foundation but aims at a different result. Regular SEO earns a ranking; AI SEO earns a citation inside an AI-written answer. The best results come from doing both, which is why every SEO plan includes both.

Which AI assistants do you optimize for?

Google AI Overviews and Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Muse, and the AI agents that browse on people's behalf. They read the web in similar ways, so the same fundamentals help across all of them.

Can you guarantee ChatGPT will recommend my business?

No one can honestly guarantee that. What we can do is make your site the clearest, most trustworthy, most readable source on your topic, which is what these systems look for, and report on how you're showing up.

What is an AI agent?

An AI agent is software that takes actions for a person: browsing websites, comparing options, filling out forms, and booking or buying. Tools from OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, and others can already do this, and it's becoming routine.

Is agent-readiness included on the Foundation plan?

Yes. Every site we host is built with agent-ready structure. SEO plans add ongoing optimization as agents and the standards around them change.

Will this change how my site looks?

No. Agent-readiness lives in the structure and markup under the design. Visitors see the same site, usually a faster and more accessible one.

How is Local SEO priced?

$349 per location, a month, with no setup fee. One location for a single storefront, more for businesses that serve several cities or have multiple offices.

Do I need Local SEO if I already have an SEO plan?

If customers find you by location, usually yes. SEO plans optimize your site; Local SEO adds the Business Profile, listings, and location pages that drive map pack rankings.

Can I add Local SEO to the Foundation plan?

Yes. Add-ons are available on any plan, including the Foundation.

What's included in publishing versus content creation?

On every SEO plan, you can send us up to four drafts a month and we'll optimize and publish them. Content creation is the add-on where we research and write the posts for you, at $249 per post.

How many posts should I publish?

Consistency matters more than volume. One or two strong posts a month beats a burst followed by silence. We'll recommend a rhythm based on your market.

Who owns the content?

You do. Everything we write for you is yours to keep, even if you leave.

Websites & Hosting

Is web design really included in the monthly price?

Yes. Every plan includes your website. There's a one-time setup fee for the build, and it's waived entirely with a 12-month commitment.

Who owns the website?

You do. Your code and content are yours to keep, even if you leave.

Can I just host with you without an SEO plan?

Yes. The Foundation plan is $99/mo for hosting with SEO basics built in. Changes are billed hourly, and you can upgrade to an SEO plan anytime.

Do I need to move my site to you?

Yes, and we handle it. Whether you keep your current design or start fresh, we rebuild it on our stack and take care of the move.

What happens to my site if I cancel?

Your code and content are yours. We hand everything over so you can host it anywhere.

Working With Us

Where are you located, and do you work with businesses outside California?

How do I request changes to my site?

On SEO plans, edits are unlimited: send a request and we'll handle it within 2 business days. On the Foundation plan, we still handle every change for you; it's billed hourly in 15-minute increments.

How are SEOpologist and FizzPop Media related?
